Description

Add Plain-Text Email

This plugin will add a plain/text version of your HTML emails to your WordPress emails. This decreases the chance of your legit emails being marked as spam by tools as SpamAssassin.

This plugin comes without any settings. When activated, it will automatically look for HTML emails being sent using the wp_mail() function and when necessary add the plain text version.

If you have more question about the why’s of this plugin, take a look at the FAQ.

Reviews

Works perfectly – improved SpamAssassin score!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Even though it has not been updated for ages the code is super-simple so there's no reason for it to require an update. Tested on WP version 4.9.6. Also works with the WP Mail SMTP plugin to send through Mailgun which was an unexpected bonus!
