Installation

Follow the usual routine;

  1. Open WordPress admin, go to Plugins, click Add New
  2. Enter “Similar Posts” in search and hit Enter
  3. Plugin will show up as the first on the list, click “Install Now”
  4. Activate & go to Settings – Similar Posts to configure

Or if needed, upload manually;

  1. Download the plugin.
  2. Unzip it and upload to wp-content/plugin/
  3. Open WordPress admin – Plugins and click “Activate” next to the plugin
  4. Activate & go to Settings – Similar Posts to configure

Great stuff, super flexible

It took a while to have the settings show what I wanted. Some boxes should have been ticked in advance, like "all autors". And now it is easy to show related posts in my niche. Long tail traffic needs loads of content, which ought to be sorted to topics, i.e. tags. Thanks

Among plug-ins like Related Articles, the best one. In a website test with 50,000 articles, the response speed was almost unaffected. But to mention, the help documentation is a bit messy and not easy to find. Perhaps the plug-in score is low. I have used all the websites. Thank the author.

Couldve been good

After figuring out the unfinished installation description I found out this has to be added to the page design as a widget. This doesnt work, however, because I keep getting the error "Invalid value" and I cant save any changes. The forum has nothing on this. While previewing it also doesnt seem to respond to my settings like maximum post number.
