Add all your business listings at once and tap into an impressive set of blocks, shortcodes, and widgets to set up intuitive, location-based website directories.

Do it all stress-free and in style with 100% compatible WordPress page builders like Gutenberg (Kadence WP, Astra, Neve, OceanWP), Elementor, Bricks, Divi, Beaver Builder, and Breakdance!

GeoDirectory is WordPress’s most robust and scalable directory plugin. It offers advanced features tailored for listing websites. Its intuitive design and extensive customizability make it the top choice for professionals seeking a reliable WordPress directory solution.

👉 Superb plugin!
Look no further than this plugin for a directory website, it’s fantastic. I looked at Directorist first and spent a good amount of time setting that up to find out their search function only checked the post title and none of the tags or categories. Useless! GeoDirectory of course checks pretty much every field so your users can find every listing with ease.

But that’s a relatively small plus point. The main selling point is the customisation you can achieve. You’re able to build your own layout using a page builder and insert the various fields wherever you see fit. It’s so flexible and if you run into a support issue, the team are always on hand to help with responses in just a few hours (and at weekends).

You will need to invest some money to buy all the necessary addons that make this plugin so powerful and you will need to spend a good amount of time working out how to build it how you want it but it’s well worth it and the results speak for themselves.

There is documentation to help you set everything up and I think the team will admit it does lack in places but when you get quick support responses, it’s not an issue.

Overall this is the perfect choice if you’re thinking of building a directory site. No need to look elsewhere.

This plugin has extensive development, and is reasonable out of the box for simple solutions that align with the base design of the plugin, but as stated by others, it is complex and has a steep learning curve. Needs more doco. Unfortunately, if you want to customise or run into an issue, the documentation is not comprehensive and the support is not the easiest to deal with. There is no support forum, so you can't self serve by searching previous support threads. I have fixed most of my issues faster than the email support response. I have improved the rating and tone of my response as support are starting to be a bit more helpful. I hope we get where we need to go.

The plugin is definitely powerful and works very well for a directory! They have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it. As a developer accustomed to using ACF, I do feel GeoDirectory is less naturally-intuitive and has a steeper learning curve. I think many of the features & settings are in odd places, named strangely, and/or work differently than I would have expected, and it has taken me a lot of back and forth with support to get my bearings. Most things I need are "there," it just takes a lot of digging around. I want to stress that the QUALITY of the email support is outstanding. They give thoughtful answers and have written me custom code on multiple occasions to accomplish tasks, and I am deeply appreciative of that. But I am still not a fan of the "closed" support system itself. They do not have any type of user support forum anymore, and they have gone so far as to obscure answers in past conversations from their old forum. Their documentation also feels unpolished, disjointed and incomplete, lacking much in the way of examples and user-generated tips—it really pales in comparison to the thoroughness and cohesiveness that ACF offers. With ACF I am always able to get my questions answered with a quick google search, whereas with GeoDirectory almost every question I have ends up becoming an email conversation over a day or two. Also, GD works very differently than I'm used to in the way it stores data to the database. They have a full explanation about the reasoning behind this (for query performance basically), which I'm not equipped to argue with. But this approach does result in things being more siloed off from the "normal" WP ecosystem. GD has its own separate internal management system for categories, tags, custom post types, custom fields, etc. This means some of my beloved, always-installed plugins for bulk editing content (like Admin Columns and WP Sheet Editor) do not work at all with GD, and that interacting with GD content using common "vanilla WP" ways is not possible. Just something to consider. Overall though it's solid and reliable, does the vast majority of what we need it to do, so we're quite happy with it!

I've tried many directory plugin before going for this one and i have to say this is by far the best one on the takes some time to learn how to use it and set it properly but once you do everything runs smooth and easy.A special note goes to the support which is amazing and always reliable.

This plugin is definitely a big learning curve for me (I have a non-technical nursing background), but the support of the team that develops and manages this software is AWESOME! My site isn't even live yet but I've gotten multiple comments on how professional it looks from those who have seen it. Thankful to my web designer for guiding me and to GeoDirectory for creating these products. <3 Looking forward to seeing what I can grow from this!

I've used this plugin before, it's a learning curve but any directory plugin would be, it's robust, intelligently designed and works seamlessly with any theme that we've used. My favorite part is the FAST and AMAZING support team. Instead of waiting overnight, they get back within minutes and work diligently to get that solution needed. They are also polite and very knowledgeable. This is my 'go to' directory plugin!
